Submissions

Please read these, even if you've read them before:

Please note that this form is NOT for corrections. To correct a mistake, go to the relevant game's page and click the edit icon under the entry - a drop down list will then appear which will let you correct/change things.

If your entry has been written without reading these it gets automatically removed from the database before being seen. If your entries don't appear after a while, feel free to e-mail me, but please note that any e-mails asking why submissions haven't been posted will be ignored unless they include EXACTLY what was submitted, together with the precise title used.

Please follow the rules below to make my life easier and keep the quality of the site up - badly written or incomprehensible submissions will likely just be discarded.

  • Try and make it clear which section of the game you're referring to. Use level titles if they exist, but if not describe the situation as clearly as possible.
  • Please start your submissions with ## before you write anything else, even a space. For example write "## In the scene where...", without the quotes. This is simply a test to see who's actually bothered reading the rules (such as your good self) - in my experience all the junk comes from people who don't bother.
  • Bear in mind that some suspension of disbelief is always allowable - for example yes, most people wouldn't survive being hit repeatedly by bullets, but games have their own rules.
  • Please don't submit anything that's not easily reproduceable, or one-off random graphical glitches - while on very rare occasions you might be able to see through a door or something similar, unless it's always like that it's not worth listing.
  • Don't copy mistakes from other sources, or send in alleged mistakes that you've heard rumours about.
  • Please check to make sure that what you're about to submit isn't already listed. Be sure to read any title-specific notes below, and the sample entries on the next page.
  • Start with a capital letter, and end with a full stop or question mark. The ONLY words that should have capital letters are place names/people's names, and the first word of a sentence. Please don't write any words in all capitals, and please don't use exclamation marks.
  • Once you've typed out your submission, give it a read to make sure it looks OK, and please correct as much of the spelling as possible.

Thanks for following these - it makes updating the site a lot faster, means your submissions are more likely to get online, makes my life a lot easier, and makes the site better for everyone.

Type

What kind of thing are you submitting? Please choose one, or your entry will not go through.
Please read these examples of each mistake type to make sure they're properly categorised.

Entry

What is the submission? Only submit one at a time. If you've spotted multiple mistakes for one shot/scene (ie. someone's jacket changes, and something's different in the background as well), please don't submit them as two separate mistakes, just combine them into one single entry.
