| I watched this horror movie a while back, probably the early or mid-90's, and I can't remember the name. All I remember was that there was a scene where the main character's girlfriend is lying on the bed, stabbed through the heart with a spear. He's not supposed to remove the spear but he does anyway, and she later comes back to life as a vampire or something. Any ideas? | Answer |
| I saw this movie in the early 90's. It's a movie with a teenage martial artist. His brother is believed to have commit suicide, however his younger brother is being haunted by his brother's spirit. | Does anyone remember 50s TV shows? I saw a show when I was really little and I've always wondered what TV anthology or other show it was part of. It was probably never rerun, so unless you saw it originally, you probably never did. I've watched all of Alfred Hitchcock and One Step Beyond on Sci-Fi and on Netflix, so I don't think it was either of those. It may be set in the 1700-1800s, because they use candles or oil lamps. A beautiful young woman is sitting at her dressing table, looking into the mirror, and hoping that a new lover will appear. He does, they fall in love, and I can't remember what else happens, except that toward the end they're looking in the mirror together (I think - I was probably 6 or 7, so my memory is really fuzzy), and he disappears. The last scene is really all I remember. She's sitting, looking in the mirror again, and her hair has turned completely white. She hears a noise, says the man's name, and her maid says, "No my lady, it's only the wind." | Answer |
| I saw this scene from a black and white movie on television late one night in the sixties. It shows a group of children playing outside a mine shaft, arguing about whether to go in. The blonde curly haired girl calls the others chicken and convinces them to go in. | I'm looking for the title of a movie I either saw on TCM or AMC. The main character was a woman. In the movie her husband leaves her. Towards the end, she leaves her sick child alone in their apt. to get medicine. While she is gone, a fire starts and the child is killed. It is a movie from maybe the 30s to the 50s. | Answer |

| I am trying to find the title of a movie probably from the 80's where a man dies in a plane crash and goes to see his wife who is at a cabin, they have been having problems, they talk, work out problems and he gives here a doll. He leaves and the next day she finds out he had been killed in plane crash. I thought the woman was Anna Meara but can not find the move in a list of her movies. | Answer |
| There's a movie from about 10 years ago who's name I can't remember. It involved a young boy (and his friend?) who are coerced into taking care of an old woman. | I remember renting a cartoon (possibly anime?) about 10 years ago and the only scene I remember is where a man is at the top of a hill and there is a fairy or angel woman in the air, and then he walks down the hill. It is steep, and I believe that you can see a town from the top. I thought that it might be "A Journey Through Fairyland," but the pictures look a little too dated. | I saw a movie or show on TV as a child in the early 80s in which a man is accosted on a downtown street corner by thugs who use a large knife to cut him in half at the waist. He remains conscious after this and is carried in two pieces to a field of grass where he recollects his family he will miss, etc. Yucky. Never could figure out the name of the movie, or the point of it but it has stuck with me. | Answer |
| I was born in 1989 and I remember as a young child, a TV show on ABC (in Australia, in the early 90's i guess) it was a kids show and what i Remember is : there was an elephant painting a picture, then there were some bubbles and he became inspired to paint a rainbow. Now somewhere in the show (it may have been a different episode. i really don't remember) the elephant, and maybe some other animals were ice skating on a lake. there was also a part where two animals kept going down the fireman's pole at the station. This is really sketchy. and i apologize, also the show was like a claymation or using models. but it was all very smooth, not like fireman Sam or postman pet. hope that helps and hope you can help. | Answer |
| I'm not sure how many people watch foreign films, Asian movies to be more specific, but I would like to know the title of this one street racing movie. I think I saw the movie in the mid 90's, but not really sure when the movie was made. This is a live-action movie and all I can remember about it was that it had the regular illegal car street races, but also had a motorcycle race (I believe just one, but can be mistaken), the racer's girlfriends ride with them during the races, and in one fight scene, one guy busted a fluorescent light on another's head. | Answer |

| I saw this cartoon some time ago and I cannot remember the name. It was about 2 girls who fell down a well into a magical land. While they were trying to find their way home they encountered various people/creatures who lived there and would ask for help. One girl always helped out while the other did nothing but complain. | I saw a tv movie back in the early to mid 70's. It was about a boy who was abused by his father. He saw an angel 3 times, once when he wanted to die, once when he thought he was going to die (ran away) and once when he was dying. His father made a friend of his punch him in the face and made fun of his own son for not hitting first. He ran down the stairs out into the road and was hit by a car. I was only about 7 or 8 at the time I saw this and the movie always stuck in my mind. Does anyone remember the name of it or at least who was in it? | Answer |
| I've been trying to identify an episode of an old horror program (or possibly a movie) that I saw on TV in the 1960's. It had this ending: A young girl is confronted by an adult couple (presumably her parents) because she has drawn a picture of the house on fire. Her drawing has supernaturally caused the house to actually be on fire. As the male adult reaches to restrain the child, she grabs a nearby framed portrait of him and draws a line on it. This causes a bleeding gash on the man's face. The chilling final scene is the girl covering his photo completely with marks as we hear the man's screams. | I am trying to find a movie that I watched when I was younger. I really don't remember all that much about it. I do know that it was about a recently married couple who went on a vacation possibly their honeymoon to an eccentric uncle's place. The new husband was having problems in a sexual nature and the new wife was constantly getting hit on by the uncle. The husband ends up sleeping with a woman when they are trapped in a storm. | Calling all Samurai fans! My friend and I saw this movie on a public access channel and couldn't stop laughing, it was a very low budget Samurai movie. There was one scene where an old guy with a long white beard (who seems to be in every Samurai film) is talking to his student(?) He says something like "I am here! Soon I won't be here! But they be here!" Then he throws a stick at a rock and a ninja jumps out. (The old guy is later killed by someone who turns into a snake.) Later the student is running through the woods, and after jumping up into a tree after spikes stick out of the ground, fights with someone (another ninja?). The ninja cuts off his head, but his head just floats to a log and talks to him while his body continues fighting, after he kills the guy, his head floats back on to his body. At the end of the film the guy is standing on a rooftop and draws a circle in the air which he "throws" to the bad guys, tying them up. There is also something about an old lady standing near water, yelling something while slowly disappearing. My friend and I have been trying to find this film for nearly 3 years.
