Questions (view answered questions / view films/shows with answers)
This page is for questions relating to a specific movie/TV show. If you have a more general question, ie. you can't remember the name of a movie, or want to know how an aspect of filmmaking works, check out the general movie questions section.
These are all the unanswered questions currently listed on moviemistakes.com. Click "answer" on the right to answer a question, or else you can click the title to see all questions for that film/TV show. Got a question about a movie/TV show that the IMDb or Google can't help with? You can submit them in the same way as you would a mistake - just click "submit something" on the left when you're on the relevant film's page (if you want to submit for a film I don't have listed, click it when NOT viewing a specific film), and write your question in the box, being sure to change the type to "Question". I'll post it ASAP and hopefully someone will answer soon! Members get e-mailed when any of their questions are answered.

| CSI: Crime Scene Investigation | Formalities: What is the name and artist of the song playing when Nick takes the guy in the white suit out of the Homecoming dance to interview? | Answer |
| CSI: Crime Scene Investigation | Homebodies: OK, I don't get it. Who killed Suzanna? Was it the same guy that raped her? And how were the two cases interlinked? | Answer |
| CSI: Miami | All of series 4: Are the episodes of this season re-edited when they air abroad? I live in Europe and sometimes when an episode airs it feels as if a scene has been left out, characters refer back to things or are upset about things that have not been shown in the episode. Some scenes begin with what seem like the middle of a conversation, for example one scene with Calleigh and Horatio begins with Horatio saying "I don't want you to worry about that" and then moving on to a different topic. Also the episode recaps on cbs.com don't follow the episodes. For example the episode "Driven", the recap says Horatio told Marisol to stay with him, then later on went home to check on her and told her someone had broken in to her house. When I saw the episode he told her that someone had broken in to her house so she should stay with him, and he doesn't go home to her until the end of the episode. | Answer |
| CSI: Miami | Urban Hellraisers: According to imdb.com, Alana De La Garza (Marisol) is in this episode. I didn't see Marisol anywhere, what did I miss? | Answer |
| CSI: NY | Sweet Sixteen: Being ophidiophobic, the scene with the snake in the car freaked me out. Are snakes as common in New York City as they are in Las Vegas and Miami? | Answer |

| CSI: NY | All of series 4: In episode 4-7 (Commuted Sentences) Kendall is wearing a shield (the NYPD detectives' badge). Why would a lab tech have one? Even if she was a detective/investigator restricted to lab duties she would have to hand it in when suspended from field work. | Answer |
| CSI: NY | All of series 4: Why was A.J. Buckley credited this season as a special guest star? | Answer |
| Cutthroat Island | A trivia entry says this film was the big box office disaster of 1995, costing $95 million and only taking $11M. Does anyone know how much it has made since in DVD sales and TV showings? | Answer |
| D-Tox | When the killer uses a drill to cut through the eye hole of the door into the person's eye behind it, how does he know that the person is looking through at that particular moment? | Answer |
| The Da Vinci Code | When Silas is on the phone (00:06:29) confirming that the "Senechaux" and the "Grand Master" are dead, he says that they all confirm the location. Then, when he says, "Independently" (about 00:06:40), on the DVD there are some subtitles that quickly flash on and off, too quick to even catch via frame by frame on DVD player. What do they say? | Answer |
| The Dark Knight | After Batman crashes the Batpod and the Joker comes over to do whatever it was he had in mind to Batman, there are two of his thugs waiting for him, one rolling Batman over and one whom you briefly see on the far left edge of the screen (you can see his mask). One of the thugs gets electrocuted and is incapacitated, but what happened to the other one? He apparently didn't see or make any attempt to stop Gordon, who by the way is the only cop around for a few blocks (save the other guy in the police van who was presumably still guarding Dent). Gordon couldn't have incapacitated him since he approached the Joker from behind, when the Joker was facing the second henchman. | Answer |
| The Darkest Evening Of The Year | Why exactly did Vanessa/Moongirl not like having sex with any light in the room? I know the book said something about her passion in the light being diminished, but what did that mean exactly? | Answer |

| Das Boot | When the U-Boat leaves La Rochelle the Kriegsmarine brass band plays "Muss I' Denn, Muss I' Denn", an old German love song that many people will recognise from an Elvis Presley movie, GI Blue I think, with the title "Wooden Heart". But when the boat returns the band plays a much more martial march (which does not prevent a soldier on the pier from dancing!). But which marching tune? | Answer |
| Dave | When Dave is showing the first lady the real president on the ventilator, the machine in the back ground (I don't know its name) is moving up and down, but the sound of the moving air does not match the machine movement. Is this the way these machines actually operate? | Answer |
