While Frasier is talking to Daphne about wooing Holly, the wine bottle on the coffee table changes position more than once - from sitting on a book on the left of the tray to being on the bare table on the right and then back again to the left of the tray, but not on the book. In the opening credits Niles mentions that Daphne had lost 9 lbs. 12 oz at the weight-loss spa. This is probably a deliberate reference to the birth of Janes Leeves' (Daphne) daughter. According to www.imdb.com, she was born in Jan 2001 and weighed 9 lbs. 12 oz. See more...
Frasier - A Midwinter Night's Dream (S1 E17)
Continuity: At the beginning of the show, Niles, Frasier and Daphne are at Cafe Nervosa. Daphne is standing up talking to Eric the server and Niles gets agitated, and spills sugar everywhere. Eric throws down a dish towel so they can clean it up. The dish towel appears and disappears several times during the scene.
