Continuity: After Snake sees the area Meryl was shot, the codec conversation afterwards has Naomi bringing up that her grandfather was Japanese and was an undercover investigator for the FBI during Edgar Hoover's time in New York. Master Miller later points out this is not true as there were no Asian investigators, however he now refers to the man as Naomi's father, not grandfather.

Factual error: In the scene where Snake is ambushed by the M1 tank we see a view from inside the barrel and that it is rifled; the Abrams has a smoothbore cannon, not rifled.
