Plot hole: Somewhere during the course of the game, Jill learns Nicholai's name, without anyone ever telling it to her. She calls it out during the helicopter scene at the end.
Continuity: Marvin Branagh is found dead in the police station, but in RE 2, which takes place shortly after RE 3, he is alive.
Continuity: Although the game takes place just before Resident Evil 2, there are blue road blocks on the streets that do not appear in RE 2. The same is true for blocked doors in the police station.
Audio problem: At one point in the game Carlos loses his accent and speaks without the accent throughout the rest of the game.
