Near the beginning of the film, when Pee-Wee unveils his beloved bicycle for the first time by disabling his elaborate garage security system, if you look carefully, a crew member's foot can be seen moving away as the garage door is opened. See more...

Trivia

Just as Pee-Wee walks into the Joke Shop at the beginning of the film (after he chains his bike to the clown), if you look to his right (our left), you will see a mini-poster of Elvira on the wall. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry When Pee Wee goes into the magic shop right before his bike is taken, the letters that read the name of the shop on the glass door are facing the wrong way (the letters are facing inside, making it look backwards outside) [In the deleted scene "Amazing Larry" we see at the end of the scene as the door is opened that the glass is actually tinted and therefore what is on the inside of the glass would not be seen from the outside. There is actually lettering on the outside of the glass facing outward as well as the lettering facing inside that we see in the actual movie.]
Entry When Pee-Wee is in the Tour de France, his bike is plain. There are no decorations on. When he takes it out from the hiding spot, everything is back on. [The Tour de France sequence was a dream. It didn't have to make sense.]
Entry When Pee-Wee goes to the fortune teller to find out about his stolen bike, she tells him that for $20 she can tell him a lot. He gives her only 5 bundled up one dollar bills, but she goes ahead and tells him about his bike. Why isn't she complaining that she got paid only $5 and not $20? [She isn't complaining about the five dollars because she was going to give him bad advice anyway. Five dollars is better than nothing.]
Entry In the scene where Pee Wee is driving while Mickey is sleeping and he is passing all these signs that warn the road is going to become curvy, if you look at the bottom of the signs, you can see they are being moved on a track while the camera stays stationary. [This seems like an deliberate choice by the filmmakers, given how obvious it is, along with the fact that the entire movie is downright silly. It seems like a gag for the kids to pick up on.]
