How come when the robbers are making their getaway, Goldie Hawn & Steve Martin jump out without the robbers stopping to pick them up again? Surely they wouldn't risk the hostages telling the police and identifying them. [Steve Martin grabs the gun out of the robber's hand and the taxi is then pulled over to the side of the road to let them get out. (The gun is dropped on the floor of the taxi as they get out, but the robbers don't know that.)]
