After mother has dinner with Perry and he walks her to her door, she remarks that it's chilly out. He closes the flap of his overcoat which hides his shirt and tie. As the shot goes back and forth between the two characters, the flap is sometimes open, sometimes closed. [There was wind blowing and he was moving his arms so it could easily open again.]
In a the bedroom sceen, the full moon casts a light that covers almost the entire headboard of Loretta's aunt and uncles' bed at first. But when the uncle gets up to look out the window and then looks back at the aunt in bed, the moonlight almost disappears from the headboard. When the uncle gets back in bed, the moonlight on the headboard reappears. [He's standing in front of the window blocking the light.]
The opera Ronny and Loretta attend is performed on November 15, yet the Met already has a Christmas tree displayed outside (too soon for this sort of decor). Secondly, when the family (minus Loretta) is gathered around the dinner table (the scene in which Rose threatens her father-in-law for feeding his dogs) you can see at least a dozen Christmas cards strung up behind the dining table. Doesn't seem logical that they would have received so many holiday cards in early November. [Pure conjecture.]
