Iron Man (2008) - 16 mistakes
Directed by Jon Favreau, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard (add more)
Continuity: In the scene when Pepper is watching the television program about Stark Industries stock troubles due to Tony Stark's rantings at his return press conference, notice she has a wireless headset in her left ear - when Tony calls her the camera flashes back to Pepper and the ear piece is gone.
Continuity: In Tony's workshop is a silver clock resting on a shelf with his model airplanes. At one point, this clock is stopped reading a little after midnight (a stopped clock is a common technique used by filmmakers to keep continuity problems to a minimum between shots,) and it is rational that Tony would display the clock for its artistic or sentimental value even if it was broken, but later the clock reads about ten past nine, showing that someone has changed the time.
Factual error: When Stark escapes from his captors wearing the first Iron Man suit, towards the end of the scene he is shot up by a .50 caliber machine gun. Those bullets would have gone straight through the improvised suit, which is only made of those common metals that Stark had access to in the cave and weapons cache, and out the other side.
