When Narissa makes her appearance in Times Square, just before it cuts to Nathaniel in the taxi, a crowd stands beside a tall statue, behind Narissa. The statue is of George M. Cohan, a Broadway legend, and it is the only statue of any actor located in the Broadway district.
The exterior scenes at Robert's residence were shot at the Paterno, an elegant apartment building known for its long curved facade and its elaborate arched 'porte-cochère' at the front entrance. The Paterno is located across from the Colosseum (now owned by Columbia U.), another curved Riverside apartment building (albeit smaller), both down the street from Barnard College and Columbia U.
