Continuity: First day in class, when Hoager “beeps” at Jesse, Mrs. Myers writes two words. The word “verb” is over the word “subject” on the board, in the close-up. After she turns around, in the following shots, the word “predicate” appears, disappears, then reappears and “subject” is written over “verb” now. Additionally, during this scene, all the other writing on the blackboard changes between shots as well.

Continuity: When Jesse returns his father’s keys he places them atop the vinyl covered bill folder, but the keys have moved farther down to its edge in the next shot.

Continuity: In the first music class after summer break, when Ms. Edmunds begins to sing “Old MacDonald,” the music sheets to “Why Can’t We Be Friends” flips upright in her hands between shots.

Other: During the credits, Squogre is spelled wrong, as revealed in the DVD commentary. It's spelled as "Sqouger"

Continuity: When May Belle rushes to Jesse because of the phone call, as she hands the phone to him it flips to the opposite position between shots, and then back again – note its antenna.

Continuity: When Jesse and Leslie are looking for his dad's keys, they open her purse to let out the blue light. The purse jumps between Jesse's hands and Leslie's hands between shots.

Continuity: When Jesse tries to apologize to May Belle for pushing her, he notices the drawing hanging in her dollhouse. The drawing remains shaded until its close-up, when there is light deliberately shining directly upon it.

Continuity: When Jesse searches for his father’s keys in the greenhouse, things, such as tools, disappear and reappear or changes repeatedly on the table and in the cabinet.

Continuity: In his bedroom, when Jesse blows out the colorful birthday candles and then looks up, the candles’ colors differ between shots.

Continuity: When Mr. Aarons wakes Jesse for his lost keys, Jesse’s position on the bed changes between shots, as do all the papers, markers, etc.

Continuity: After Jesse swings on the rope, just before Leslie says, “We need a place just for us,” he holds the rope over the small bottom knot as he hands it to her, but in the shot facing Leslie he holds it about two feet higher, over the large top knot.
