Factual error: When the tape is inserted into the player, "California Dreamin'" comes out of the speakers..not in October 1965. That single was released in November, and the Album released the following year. Only albums and compilations were recorded on 8-tracks, and neither would have been on that tape.
Factual error: When Jimmy Shine is picked up by Dee-Dee, her 1961 Galaxie Starliner is shod with Goodyear White-Lettered Polyglas tires, which were not available until 1969.
Factual error: When officer Bimbeau is locked in the restroom, officer Clark shoots the lock eight times -- with a six-shot Smith & Wesson revolver.
