Factual error: In the scene where Christian Slater and Minnie Driver are trying to get out of the water before it reaches the transformer, there is a real big problem with this scene, if there was a flood and it was rising that high, they city should have shut the electricity in the whole town off to prevent any electric hazards that may happen in that situation.
Hard Rain (1998) - 5 mistakes
starring Christian Slater, Minnie Driver, Morgan Freeman, Randy Quaid (add more)
Factual error: In the scene where the guy gets electrocuted on the antenna, this would not happen. 1)The power would have shorted out long before the water got to the transformer 2) the guy would not have gotten shocked even if the water was electrified because he was not grounded. The water would have taken the electricity to the true earth ground immediately as electricity ALWAYS takes the past of least resistance.
