She's the Man (2006) - 3 questions
Add actor/director information
The "questions" section is for any random questions that occurred to you while watching this film, or anything you didn't entirely understand, and which Google or the IMDb can't help with. Submit them as a question, and hopefully someone will answer (the bold comments in brackets) - check back regularly. If the answer is wrong, or missing information, please use the "clarify answer" option. Don't feel limited - want to know what music played in a certain scene? Whether this was the first film to use a certain effect? Here's the place to ask!
In the movie, when Viola is becoming a guy, they play "Love Is All Around" by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. But the version on the soundtrack is sung by The Tea Queens. Any particular reason why? [A. The music supervisor wanted a cover instead of the original. B. It's sometimes cheaper to pay for the rights to a cover than the original song.]
At the carnival, Viola sees her mom and her mom ask her where her brother is. Viola runs away and changes into "Sebastian" in the ride. Why does she do this? And why does she change right back? [Both Sebastian and Viola are supposed to be at this carnival so she has to keep changing to make "appearances" so it would appear they are both there.]
