In the scene where the main character goes to pay off the Marlboro man, he grabs his briefcase from the back seat and sits it on his lap. He says something to his son then reachs for the door handle. Maria Bello says "Dateline" is doing an alcohol related story. Then she's asked "who is doing the report - (Sam) Donaldson or (Diane) Sawyer?" "Dateline" is on NBC, and those two reporters are on ABC. [Character mistake pure and simple.]
