How come King Kong is on the ad smoking a cigar? He wasn't in the movie or anything. [Ads are often made months before the final editing of any movie. Therefore, it's not unsual for something to be in an ad but not in the final movie (or to happen differently, or a different shot, or different music, etc.).]

According to movietome.com, Red Eye would be spoofed. I didn't see anything relevant to Red Eye in this movie (except the crashed plane, but that was in War of the Worlds), but I might be wrong, so was there any references? [The spoof of "Red Eye" was dropped, there is no reference.]
