Towards the end, Lindsey and Ben are shown kissing on the field right after the Red Sox win the World Series. That shot was actually filmed moments after the Sox won the World Series on the field on October 27, 2004.
In the scene where Lindsey accepts the promotion, there is a group of people from the office. The guy in the front of the group with the goofy smile is Dr. Charles Steinburg, a member of the Red Sox front office.
