In the scene where Linus is showing David the plastic, Linus borrows David's lighter and lights it under the plastic sheet and says "Doesn't burn. Doesn't scorch. Doesn't melt." But when he asks David to taste it, you can see a black mark when the lighter has scorched it. Linus then walks across the room and put the plastic back into it's holder, the black mark is mostly gone but you can still see a smudge. Later at the party Linus is doing the flame test again for a roomful of men, the same thing happens, he puts the plastic to the flame and it scorches. [That's not a scorch - it's a soot stain from the old fashioned fluid and wick lighter.]

Mistakes
When David talks to Linus about the consequences of calling off his engagement with Elizabeth he says that their father would take to the bottle and smoke six coronas. Throughout the movie the old Larrabee smokes one churchill after another, but not a single corona, which is significantly shorter than a churchill. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
