In the scene where Cosette first kissed Marius on the bench, you'll notice that for part of the sequence her mouth is open, i.e., she and Marius are "French kissing." Now, she seems quite experienced for a young lady who has spent the past ten years of her life living in a convent where the only men with whom she interacted were either her Father, the gardener, or various clergymen. [Although Cosette could not have learned 'French kissing' from stories other girls have told her (because they would have been from the convent also) she was in love with Marius, she could have been following her instincts or even copying what he did.]

In the scene where Fantine is dying, she asks Jean Valjean to give a necklace to Cosette. There is a closeup of Fantine's head and neck and Valjean's hands enter the shot and begin to remove the necklace. A moment later she begins to cough and there is a cut to a two-shot of the pair from a few feet away. Valjean's hands are nowhere near her neck in the second shot. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
