Lady and the Tramp movie corrections

Mistakes

The screen doors on the Darlings' front doors appear and disappear between scenes. Also, with double doors, one door is bolted shut with top and bottom latches most of the time ("inactive") with the other door being the "active" door that is opened and closed when coming or going. However, throughout the film characters open either door, which would be impossible to do without interfering with the lock mechanism, the door stop mouldings, etc. and damaging the doors' edges. Trivia

Peggy Lee (famous for the song Fever) not only wrote most of the songs in the film, but also voiced the characters Peg the dog, Darling and the two siamese cats. See more...

Genres: Animation, Drama, Family, Musical, Romance

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry This film is supposed to be set during the Victorian era. In the scene where Jim Darling is going out into the cold winter night to get watermelon for Darling, this would not have been possible to obtain in the middle of winter back then. People went to market every day and bought only what was fresh and in season at that time of year. [Darling had requested several things. He probably didn't see the need to tell her she couldn't have one of her cravings, since he still had to get the rest of the list.]
Entry When Lady is running out of the pet shop after being muzzled, there is a macaw flying out with her. However, when Lady is running towards the exit in the pet shop, there is no sign of the macaw. [He could have turned and flown in another direction.]
