Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry When the blood trails from the corners of the ceiling of the Temple of Arabus, it leaves long lines as it moves to the center of the ceiling's dome, yet for some reason, all the blood trails (after connecting in the center) detach from the corners, and form just one drop. Blood is blood, including Blade's, so there should have been at least minute traces of where the blood had run. [Since the temple's ceiling was built for this purpose, it likely had some sort of coating on it (beeswax or somesuch) that kept the blood from clinging to it. That way every trace of the blood released from the Daywalker would reach the vessel for La Magra.]
Entry While driving the car, Blade says something to Karen but there's no audio to his voice. [People often mutter things under their breath and it is inaudible to others. You see it all the time, for example someone doing something stupid on a subway, others looking on will shake their heads and mutter, but not be heard by others around them.]
Entry When Frost throws the little girl onto the road, Blade grabs her before the vehicle hits her. Why doesn't the vehicle stop and why isn't anybody around shocked or amazed? [I can't count how many times I have seen near miss accidents and the other drivers continue on as if nothing has happened, including the drivers that were nearly involved in the accident. We don't know if others around were shocked or amazed, they very well could have been. People don't usually show emotion or react until after the initial shock wears off.]
Entry At the very beginning when the guy and the vampire woman are riding in the car, the vampire woman's facial expression changes between shots. [Nothing unusual about that. People constantly change their expressions, and it doesn't take a long time to do so.]
Entry in the room which contains manuscripts from the book of Erebus, Blade senses the child vampire but when he actually comes face to face with her, he offers her his hand as if she is human. This is only a mistake because she moved like a vampire and he showed earlier on the film that he was very capable of sensing whether people were vampires or human. Yet he didn't notice that she was. [Blade doesn't sense the kid, he hears her moving. That's why he says "ssshhh" to Karen.]
Entry At the end of the first fight scene when Blade has nailed Quinn to the wall, why doesn't he disintegrate having been nailed to the wall with the silver stakes as other vampires had before? [Blade himself expresses surprise at having difficulty killing Quinn, and says that silver's not worked before, hence trying fire this time. He would have stayed around to check the job was finished but the police showed up.]
Entry In the scene where Blade is fighting all the vampires before he goes to fight Frost at the end, he defeats them all with his hands or a weapon that was lying around, but none of his weapons. Then, when he pulls out his sword and twirls it around, they evaporate as if he killed them with a silver bullet or sword. But that wouldn't happen, since he didn't use any of his weapons? [When he twirls the sword around, it is possible that he did that in order to ensure the death of the vampires that are lying around nearby.]
Entry When Whistler busts into the vampire library to rescue Blade and Karen, he opens up with an MP5SD6 which is a silenced/suppressed machine gun. Problem is, the gun is as loud as an un-silenced weapon. [When a silencer is used, it is only good for a few shots. Its uses decline rapidly after about 10 shots. Whistler might have forgotten that he had used this gun before, and forgot to change the silencer. He is, after all, a fallible human like the rest of us.]
Entry If Whistler said that Blade and he were not trying to take this war to the streets, how come Blade takes out a gun on the streets and starts shooting at the fake policeman working for Frost? [Blade doesn't seem to really care about the 'sugar coated world' and is more focused on killing vampires and their human servants. Frost is a particular obsession for both Whistler and Blade so its possible that Blade's only objective is finding and killing Frost, regardless of how he does it.]
Entry At the end of the first major fight scene, Blade nails Quinn to a wall and sets him on fire. Firemen then put him out, and Quinn's new dummy body wobbles from the minute force of the fire extinguishers. [He's supposed to be twitching from the extreme damage done to him.]
Entry At the end when Blade defeats Frost, Frost (who has turned into the Blood God) explodes and splatters blood all over the place. But there is no blood on the walls in the next scene. [Frost is a vampire, and throughout the film whenever bits fall of vampires bodies they disintegrate into ash. Surely this would explain why there is no blood on the walls, because it is probably ash on the floor.]
Entry In the scene where Frost is talking to the senior, pure blood vampires he says that they shouldn't make deals with humans: "For God's sake, these people are our food." However, when he's telling Karen about the "Blood God" he says that everyone in its path will be instantly turned. If that happens, where would the vampires get their food? [Going by what Frost says at other times, and by other vampire movies, they probably could survive off animals. There's also a deleted scene showing that some humans will be kept alive in freezers to provide blood.]
Entry When Drs. Jenson and Webb are looking at vampire blood on their monitor, the molecules are moving around in a liquid state. This would mean the doctors put a drop of the blood directly under the microscope. This method is antiquated and is not the routine procedure that has been in use for well over a hundred years. When blood is prepared for microscopic examination, it is smeared, dried, and stained on slides. [This is vampire blood, however. As revealed far earlier in the movie (when Karen was saying that the cells were bi-convex, which was "impossible"), vampire blood is drastically different from human. Who knows how many differences the two have?]
Entry Frost is running his computer translation of the vampire bible because "it is a dead language" - yet when Blade shows the scrap of vampiric bible to Whistler, he is able to read it no problem - it doesn't make sense that Whistler can read it when the pure-blood council members cannot. [It makes sense that perhaps over Whistler's years of hunting for vampires, he may have done heavy research, which included some of the decyphering of the "dead language" of ancient vampires. Latin, after all, is a "dead language," and is spoken all the time; in this case, the language used in the Book of Arabus is just long unused, and Frost was using a quick means of not decyphering, but translating.]
Entry It's well established in the film that when a vampire dies both the body and the clothing he/she is wearing combust into ash. How then was Blade able to get his sunglasses back from the guy wearing them at the end of the film? Since they were still on his head when he died (check it for yourself, they only fly off after he's an ashen heap)they surely would've combusted as well. [Likely Blade's shades are made of something much stronger and more durable than regular plastic sun glasses, he is after all a Vampire slayer.]
Entry In the hospital in the beginning, Blade gets shot in the back several times by cops. But when he jumps out the window and onto the roof, the holes in the back of his jacket are gone completely. He had been shot earlier that night at the rave and got holes in his jacket. They disappeared, too. [We don't get a good enough look at the back of his jacket after he's been shot to tell if the holes are gone or not. ]
Entry In the opening sequence, we see a woman dancing in a long white jacket, white bikini top and white hot-pants. However, in a matter of seconds her jacket disappears and reappears. [If you look closely, you can see her jacket draped around her elbows. This is evident in the widescreen DVD, but maybe not in the pan-and-scan version.]
Entry Blade carries his at least five foot long sword on his back right? So how come, if you look after the fight with the cop against the police car, the next scene shows Blade sat in the front of his car, with the sword handle clearly in view behind his head. Thus where is the blade?[The sword used in Blade is less than 40 inches long, not 5 feet, easily short enough for a person around 6 feet to be able to sit in a car with the handle behind his head.]
Entry Near the end of the film when Blade enters the building he uses two syringes of that blue stuff but then the next time you see it, it is all there. Where did these two come from? [If you look closely at the back of his arm you can see 2 empty spaces were these came from.]
Entry In the scene, at the warehouse, where Blade is getting his serum, he is tied to the chair with leather straps. When Blade and Whistler notice that the Doctor is watching them, Whistler goes after her. When he corners her, and begins to talk to her, then you see Blade "float down" and appear beside her. How did he get the leather restraints off? Surely not by force, otherwise he would have popped them off when the serum was applied to his neck and he had the semi-convulsion. To avoid being helpless if vampires attacked when Blade was getting the serum, he would have designed the chair so he couldn't rip himself free with brute force but still be able to get out if he wanted.
