In the cabin when the tomboy comes up with the idea to swap places, she has a lollipop in her hand. She gets up, stands on the bed, gets off the bed, it cuts, and she turns around - the lolly pop has disappeared. [She could have thrown it out as the different angle was shown. Maybe that's why she got up.]
When all the girls are marching to the isolation cabin they are all in their camp uniforms. However when the girls are being called from their activities to march, some of them were swimming in their bathing suits and had no time to change clothes. [The girls were not in their bathing suits before they marched, it was after.]
When Susan cuts Sharon's hair, she cuts it identical to hers. I doubt a thirteen year old girl could cut hair like that, it looks too professional. [You can't assume that though. Some people are just good at that from when they're young. I've been able to cut hair perfectly since I was ten, with no training, and now I'm a professional. Just because you're young, it doesn't mean you can't cut hair.]
At the end of the food fight the two girls are looking up at Miss Inch and they have cake on their faces. You can see that the one in the pink dress is Haley Mills's double. [No the one in the pink dress was Haley Mills. The one in the camp uniform was the double. As explained in the DVD Hayley Mills has bright blue eyes (the color eyes of the one in the pink), her double has dark gray eyes (the eye color of the girl in the uniform).]
In the scene where Sharon cuts Susan's dress we see her using scissors but where did they come from? [Since Sharon wasn't allowed to go to the dance she could have easily brought them with her from her cabin.]
At the beginning of the film when Miss Inch is sorting the girls alphabetically, there are all these people holding signs with letters like "A-K" and "P-s" etc. One girl comes up to her and Miss Inch says "No dear, you are an 'O,' over there with the 'P to S's'" correct me if my alphabet is wrong, but doesn't O fall before P? [Miss Inch says "No dear, you're in R over there with the P to S's" Not "You're in O" so Miss Inch was pointing her in the right direction.]
When the girls first switch places, Susan tells her mom that she had wanted to talk to her about a boy she had met at camp. Her mother doesn't seem at all surprised. She should be surprised, because it was an all-girls camp, and she didn't know about the dance. [Sharon was gone for 5 weeks she probably wrote to her mom during that time and told her a dance was coming up.]
Both of the girls parents are American, so why would the twins have British accents? [Sharon has a Bostonian accent, which can sound quite British, and Susan picks up on that.]
Susan's camp friend with the light blond hair continually repeats the last word or line of the person before her, or mouths it to be ready for her own lines. In the dining room when the twins first see each other, Susan says something like "Whatever can I do about it?" and while she's saying that, the other girl is mouthing the words, then says her own line. She also does it in the shower scene, where they're talking about revenge, the other friend of Susan's says, "Give it to her good!" then this mimicker says, "Good. The old coventry treatment..." It's pretty funny, and shows what child actors had to learn. [To start with the dining scene, she is not mouthing her lines, she only once moves her mouth a little but it wasn't to mouth the other girl's lines. And when she says "Good" she's not repeating the other girl's lines she confirming what the other girl said. ]
When the twins are singing "let's get together", one is playing the guitar, but her right hand isn't even touching the strings to play any chords. also, verbina takes over on the piano for the other twin, and there is about 3 seconds during the switch where no one is playing the piano, and yet, the music continues. [Actually, the maid and the extra hand were playing the music behind the stage.]
