During the "jail break", a prisoner is shot and falls back into the pit. The actor was Jon Bon-Jovi. During the filming of this scene, the main stars of the film were watching. When Jon got shot and started to fall, they broke out into "You give love a bad name", which has the first line "Shot through the heart".
When the prisoners escape the pit that Doc and Chavez were held in, there's a prisoner that gets out, gets a gun, and tries to shoot one of the guards, only to be shot in the chest and do a back flip back into the pit. It's Jon Bon Jovi (who did the soundtrack for the movie).
