When departing, the producer remarks to the assembled press that F.W. Murnau is one of the greatest directors, comparable to D.W. Griffith or Sergei Eisenstein. Nosferatu was filmed in 1921, Eisenstein's first film came out in 1925. [This statement is wrong. Eisenstein's first film was released in 1917.]
