As Renee Zellweger's character, Anne, is climbing up the fire escape in the final scene, she is not wearing the tiara in one scene, and she is in the next. She is too far up the ladder for her friend to have passed it to her. [The friend, Natalie, rips the tiara off of another girl's head and puts it on Anne's before she even gets to the ladder.]
