Rank Title Mistake
The Simpsons After the donut delivery guy asks Carl why all the donuts are piling up, Carl responds with Lenny's voice.
Friends Any scenes outside Central Perk always sound as if they're on a set (which let's be honest, they are) - the sound is often muted and footsteps on the pavement have a very slight echo to them.
Desperate Housewives Episode 1-20 - Fear No More. As Carlos is giving his speech at the barbecue, Julie sees Zach and says to Susan "Oh God". After cutting to a shot of Zach and his father it shows Julie and Susan again. If you look to the right of the shot you will see Carlos' face is just looking in front of him and not speaking, but you can still hear him giving his speech whilst he is in shot.
Drake and Josh Ep. 2-18 "Drake and Josh Go Hollywood" - Near the end when Drake is playing Hollywood Girl and gets into the bridge (the steady drum beat part) you can obviously tell he's mouthing the words.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer When everyone is in the Bronze - just before the vamps show up - you hear the first line of a song being played, Ballad For Dead Friends by Dashboard Prophets, cut to outside and you see the vamps strolling along and killing the doorman, then cut back into the Bronze and the same line plays again. This is a total error in cutting the show, it is stated there is no live band but still the same line plays twice when that is not how the song goes.
Only Fools and Horses During the first scene of this episode, (the scene with Rodney and Cassandra in bed) there is a distinct echo on the soundtrack.
Dark Shadows 1897: Quentin challenges Barnabas by pulling a decorative sword from a wall display and pointing it at his throat. Unfortunately, the display wasn't all that well attached to the set wall. Though the camera pans away, you can hear a loud <i>clunk</i> as the piece falls, followed by the loud crash of shattering glass as it strikes and breaks a table lamp. You can also see the actors struggling very hard to keep straight faces as they continue with their lines.
Family Guy When Peter introduces the pope to his friends at work, and he is saying "Remember when we got that stripper for Charlie and it turned out to be his son? I think this is gonna top it" or something along those lines), Peter's mouth very obviously does not sync up with the words being said.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation In one scene, when Warrick is in the prints lab, Nick claps his hands twice, but the sound track has him clapping three times.
Eastenders In a recent episode where Jane is moving into Ian's place, she accidentally knocks over Ian's daughter's clay vase she made. When you hear the crash, it sounds something like glass shattering on tiles, but it's clay that has fallen on a carpet.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Rita is dubbed over extremely poorly - her words don't match her mouth.
Dawson's Creek When Abbie is trying to get Pacey's signature and says, "I'm collecting signatures," the movement of her lips doesn't match the speech.
The Prisoner For some reason, "Londonderry Air" was dubbed over the original song being performed by the actors/singers. Their lips aren't moving in sync with the words at all.
Smallville Clark listens to his father and Earl talking in the hospital through the visitor window. The sound is the same volume and quality as when Earl was using the microphone, which he is not using now. Even if Clark used super-hearing to eavesdrop, it wouldn't sound the same as the microphone.
It Takes a Thief When Katrina walks out of the building at the end and crosses the street to Dover's car, the sound of her boots on the pavement doesn't match the actual movement of her feet at all.
Dad's Army Jonesy is playing the organ. A pigeon 'flies' out the top of the organ and lands on the keys, so Jonesy picks it up and moves it, taking both his hands off the keys. Yet the music plays on.
Red Dwarf In Rimmer's future echo he says, "You're space crazy", but in the real conversation with Lister, he actually says, "You are space crazy".
SpongeBob SquarePants In the scene where Spongebob is falling into Gary's dream, Spongebob is screaming for at least one second after he hits the ground.
Fawlty Towers In the first scene when Basil is trying to repair his car, when he tries to start the engine, the engine sounds are totally out of sync with Basil turning the ignition key.
Drawn Together Season 1 Episode 2: "Clara's Dirty Little Secret". When Princess Clara and her Evil Stepmother make up, the latter thanks Clara before the scene switches to the Confession Room. When she says 'Thank you', her lips do not move.
Battlestar Galactica (1978) Throughout this episode, Lucifer is audibly breathing while speaking, yet he is a robot, and unlike "Data" on "Star Trek", does not mimic human traits.
Brass Eye Almost all the newsroom links in this episode were redubbed, and at times the overdub falls entirely out of sync. When Austin Tasseltine begins speaking one of his lines before Morris has finished, the latter's "Belt up, will you?" is an ad-libbed response to this mistiming.
Lost In the scene where Mr. Eko dies, he starts saying "Psalm 23." He says the first line, but when it cuts to him backing away he's half way through (note: righteousness).
Jericho When Hawkins asks Jake if he needs help putting out the third fire, he uses his hand to stop Jake from opening the car door a couple of times. The first time he does this, the thump of his hand is heard a split second before his hand connects with the door.
The Andy Griffith Show In the end where the old lady asks for Mr. Fife the second time, she doesn't say Fife, she says something like "Mr. Fipe".
The High Chaparral After the Apaches rescue Blue, Buck signs to their leader and says, "Vaya con Dios to you too, brother." But his lips never move.
Monk Sharona and Benjy are forbidden access to their damaged apartment building. The policeman tells them to call a certain emergency number, but when he says this, his lips aren't moving.
Angel The lips of the Newscaster's who reports on Conner taking over the sports store do not match what she is saying at all.
Doctor Who (1963) In episode 1, The Doctor hits something on the central console (not the door control) and walks towards the door. The door doesn't open, but the sound of the door opening is still heard.
CSI: NY When Mac and co. enter the basement of the house in Queens (the one where the third woman was found) the record player lifts off its needle and moves to another spot on the record, cutting off the sound for a second. However, the music starts again slightly before the needle hits the record.
