In the early part of the film, Beverly D'Angelo and Chevy Chase check into the hotel/motel. She goes in to take a shower but he barges in. If you look real closely, she is wearing underpants and is not nude although she is taking a shower.
When Lando says "Go on, you pirate" his entire outfit is reversed - his shoulder holster strap goes the other way, and his rank insignia changes side too.
When the first deal goes wrong and the man with the chainsaw jumps out the window you can clearly see him land on a grey crash mat because it lifts up at the corners.
When Ponyboy and Johnny go to the bar to see Dally, there is a song playing on the juke box called 'Jack Daniels if you please' by David Allan Coe. This song was written and released in 1978 although the movie takes place in the '60s.
Towards the beginning of the movie when Ralphie's dad is in the basement fixing the furnace and the entire family is staring at the door, you need to keep on eye on the left side of the screen. There is a crewmember in the family room, who is on the screen by mistake. You don't see the person right away, but it is in that sequence when you see the mom in the shot, then you can see the leg of the person very quickly in the background.
About one hour and fifty minutes in, the two stars get into a fight and are rolling around the floor. In at least one scene, a cameraman, with a handheld Panavision camera, is quite visible in the middle of the shot.
In the movie's final moments when Tom Cruise is buying back all his household items, the lady in the cargo bay says "that's everything," except for the crystal egg she throws out into the yard for Tom to catch. You can clearly see many more items left in the truck. But when the truck pulls away seconds later, nothing is left in the cargo bay except our villain sitting on a chair. Where did everything else go?
At one point Clint Eastwood is out in the woods practising his shooting with his new .44 auto-mag pistol. While he's doing this, a car pulls up and a black male begins to get out with a shotgun. (We later learn that this is his partner). As the man with the shotgun is opening his door, if you look at the reflection in the car window, you can clearly see the reflection of a man with a camera and another man standing next to him.
When the brunette is in the shower and that boy shows up he is wearing blue pants, but when you see the clothes lying on the carpet while they are in bed together, the pants are brown... or vice versa.
In the scene where Bond is trying to escape with his new Mini-Jet, he flies through a big hall. If you look carefully, you can see that the aeroplane which is supposed to be flying with its wings vertical is fastened to some kind of sustainer.
Shirley MacLaine and Jack Nicholson both live in River Oaks (very ritzy neighborhood in Houston) and are traveling to Brennans restaurant in downtown Houston maybe 5-10 miles away - but they go by way of Galveston which is about 45 miles south of Houston - which needless to say is way way out of the way...
After Calvin Bouchard makes the announcement to tourists visiting the Undersea Kingdom to evacuate, we see the tour guide lead the crowd through the tunnels. The green screen backdrop is still in the final cut. They forgot to add in the underwater effect.
During The Miracle of Birth Part 1, when the guy goes into the operating room, the girl puts the gown on the first doctor. It's barely on, but, in the next, wider shot of him, it's completely on and she's tying the back together.
After Steve pushes Donna, the milk and eggs fall to the floor, and spill. In the next shot the size and the shape of the milk spillage is different than it was in the previous shot, and the position of the cracked eggs changes as well.
When De Niro's character gets in the limousine with Lewis' character he has a hurt hand. He wraps it with a handkerchief. As the scene progresses the handkerchief disappears and reappears depending on the camera angle.
The recording that the 3 boys did of the mayor and council members, in the basement of the courthouse, is not consistent with the one played back, at the rally, at the high school. Words and phrases are both omitted and added in the playback, especially the word "mayor", which is heard more in the playback.
One of the last scenes of the movie, when Karen Silkwood is driving away from Dru they show her sitting in the car waving at him and the rearview mirror is clearly visible. Then she starts driving away, and the rearview mirror is gone. Then as she drives off, you can see the mirror has been replaced.
During the scene where Nick and Sam come upon Richard having a midnight snack in the kitchen you can see a small bright whitish reflection of some kind of equipment in the top left (our left) kitchen window, down in the lower right corner. There is no character movement or other scene related explanation for this reflection. It moves and fades during the scene, most dramatically at the end of the scene.
When Roy Scheider's partner is killed, he is run over by a car. After the car runs him over, his body rolls and you can see his arms swinging freely even though his hands were bound by the plastic ties. Later when you see his body, his hands are bound again.
The brother, disguised as a doctor, enters the hospital and kills a patient by injecting him with some kind of poison. The problem is that the huge hypodermic needle stays at the same fluid level before and after the injection and afterwards has a quarter inch of air in it.
When Cletus is driving the Trans Am as the bandit, it shows him driving to the left and waving at a group of girls. The close up of him driving must be reversed because it looks like the Trans Am is now a right-hand drive.
