While Indy and Marion are in the Well of Souls, and they encounter the snakes, Indy falls to the ground only to be confronted by a hissing Cobra rearing its head. Look carefully and you'll see the snake's reflection on the safety glass between it and Indy. Briefly you can also see the torch's reflection while he's waving it around. <em>[This has been corrected in the new DVD set. You can only see it if you have the original VHS. I think it's visible in the "making of" on the DVD as well.]</em>
When Harold Ramis is fighting Bill Murray to try to keep him from leaving the base, notice when Harold is on top of Bill choking him, there is a duffel bag under Bill's head, and in the cut-aways the bag is a few feet away.
When Joan is cutting up her rose garden, she is ranting and raving about how mad she is at Mayer, and how they're calling her box office poison. But if you look closely at her lips, they aren't moving.
In the 1924 Olympics, the Eric Liddell character is handed a slip of paper prior to running. As he runs in the race, the paper is not in his hand. When he crosses the finish line it magically reappears.
In the beginning of Halloween 2, the scene where Dr. Loomis shoots Michael Myers repeatedly until he falls off the balcony is reenacted to reflect the events of the original Halloween. If you look carefully, you can see that the stuntman portraying Michael is actually walking backwards on a table until he haplessly falls off the balcony.
During the climax of the film, the maiden takes the stone from Galen and attempts to smash the amulet. Galen pulls the stone away and says "NO! He said I'd know the time". However, his lips do not match the words. He appears to say "NO! It is not yet time!".
In the beginning scene, the ruler of Argos is condemning his daughter and son to the sea with a group of guards present at the shore. While he is giving his speech, there is a brief moment when the whole group can be seen getting drenched by a wave crashing ashore, but in the very next moment of his speech - even up to the daughter's cast off - no one is wet.
In one scene just before the attack on a big Hunter the young captain (Jürgen Prochnow) is sitting with his maps. Beside him he has got a glass of beer standing. The sub lurches heavily right and left in the hard weather, but the surface of the liquid stays the same.
When the rear window of the semi is smashed, you can see in the very next shot that the chain of Wez's ball mace is already hanging from the ceiling to Max's right, long before Wez even starts swinging it and leaves it hanging there after he is killed.
When Arthur is in the bath tub, Hobson brings him a martini on a tray. Arthur grabs the glass. It shoots over to Hobson then back to Arthur and he picks up the glass again without even putting it down.
After Arthur drinks from the Grail and goes to visit Gwinevere at the convent and she gives him the sword back, he paces around her chamber- you can clearly see the film crew reflected in his armor.
When Belushi and Ackroyd are sitting at the table having coffee, Earl throws his coffee at Ackroyd but if you play it in slow motion, you can see Ackroyd duck the coffee before Belushi actually throws it.
When Albert Johnson jumps into the top of a tree, he first throws his backpack off the hill but leaves his rifle. After he gets to the base of the tree both his backpack and rifle are there.
The two heroes are seen arriving at Adelaide Station (name changed to Perth) behind a South Australian RX Class steam locomotive running on 5 feet 3 inch gauge rails. The Western Australian Railway system serving Perth Station at the time used 3 feet 6 inch gauge rails and more recently standard gauge, but never the Irish gauge. The locomotive is much too big for authenticity.
When Bunny (Ramon) is, as Zorro, spelling out "Zorro" on the wall with his whip, the number of whiplash sounds does not match the number of marks in the wall.
In the final scene of the movie, on the highway, Cora (Jessica Lange) is ejected from the car Frank (Jack Nicholson) is driving, hits the ground, dies instantly after the impact, and rolls over to the shoulder of the road. Weeping, Frank kneels by her side and holds her motionless right hand with his right hand, which, of course, has no wedding ring (They had just been married.) The next and last close-up shot shows he's holding her right hand with his LEFT HAND, the wide gold wedding ring appearing now in full sight.
As Kevin and the Time Bandits make their way to the place that Napoleon has taken control of, five people are executed by a firing squad. A couple shots later, the same group of people are being executed again.
About 20 minutes into the movie, the family is sitting around the dining room table eating breakfast. Dad asks how school is going, and the daughter replies, "I learned all about my cervix in sex ed today", then walks off. They are eating breakfast, and the kids have not yet gone to school.
After the engines break down on the Carina, Lena leads a horse dragging the boat along as they work to fix it. We see her leading it on the north side of the canal but when they pass Uniship she is suddenly on the south.
In the final football game scenes ( from about three-quarters of the way through the film or so) all the spectators are wearing 1970's clothes and have 1970's hairstyles.
